应用统计、统计学，均不分方向。研究生的收费标准：学术型研究生专业统一都是8000元一年，专业型研究生就要看具体的专业，应用统计专业学位研究生全日制（不含定向就业）、国家专项计划22500元一年，定向就业（不含国家专项计划）25000元一年。统计学是一门科学，研究怎样去有效地收集、整理和分析带有随机性的数据，以对所考察的问题作出推断或预测，直至为采取一定的决策和行动提供依据和建议。经济的发展使得对统计学的需求日益广泛和提高。计算机及软件技术的发展，使很多人力难以完成的复杂统计运算变为可能。现在，统计学的应用几乎遍及所有科学领域和国民经济各部门，统计学的一些基本概念和知识已成为很多社会生活和经济活动的必备常识 本专业培养学生成为有较好的数学基础，熟悉常用的统计分析方法，能熟练使用计算机及统计软件。具有经济学的初步知识的人才，使毕业生能够适应社会的需求。适合在企事业部门和其它部门从事与统计学有关的开发、应用和研究工作及其它方面的工作。
